Armed with a Zagat Guide, we started our gourmet trail, from Hot Dogs@ Gray’s papaya to burgers, to pizzas@ John's, to steaks@ Les Halles, we conquered them all!!Top on our list of favorites, is the Blue Ribbon Sushi joint (along Prince St, I think), the tuna and unagi melts in your mouth and the beef is super succulent!! Portions though not HUGE was truly filling!!! Photos...Nah we didn't take any because this joint is super Atas, thus the trigger-happy Megan didn’t dare take any pictures—it just didn’t seem appropriate. It’s so good that it doesn’t need a signboard. Sounds familiar? Go early or expect to wait in line -- we were lucky to get seats without waiting-Ho Ho Ho. (Geee why am I sounding like the Zagat guide??)
Our favorite wld have to be the Steak and Fries from Les Halles, but coming a close second is the Jap place Yama. At Yama, one can eat like a bear and not burn a hole in the pocket.
